Riverdene is a lodge where kids can be kids and families genuinely get to bond! It’s the perfect place to relax in the natural beauty of the reserve enjoying the wonders of the bush. But it is also where families can learn about wildlife and conservation practices together.
This intimate lodge offers 9 inter-leading rooms, luxurious in their furnishings and amenities. There is a shimmering rim-flow swimming pool, indoor dining facilities as well as a boma overlooking the river. Apart from the morning and afternoon game drives, you can also visit the Born Free and wildlife rehabilitation centres. These add another stimulating dimension to your safari experience.
One of the newest highlights for us is the Kids on Safari Adventure Centre. Complete with a zip line, rock climbing wall, maze, treehouses connected by suspended walkways and a mini soccer field! A marvellous addition for children of all ages, and we mean all ages!
